Love of the Day

I was lost, looking for a gas station for directions. i saw you walking on the side of the road, my headlights illuminated your anxious, gorgeous eyes, and a slightly desperate hopeful look on your face as you watched me pass by. I turned around to see if you needed help or something, but you had disappeared. i stopped at a gas station to get directions, over an hour late to my destination. i walked in and you were at the counter asking the clerk how to put gas in a handheld gas can, scratching at your blonde ponytail in confusion. Immediately as i walked up behind you, you just turned around and looked into me with those big blue eyes and asked me if i would do it for you. I was so surprised all i could say was “yeah….do what?”. We went outside and i pumped the gas into your little gas can, then i drove you back to your car a half mile away, where your lazy boyfriend was waiting.
